A estrela da WWE, Jack Swagger que deu o nó à pouco tempo com a modelo Catalina White, esperava partir com Catalina para a sua lua de mel este fim de semana, porém a inclusão do atleta no TLC acabou por deitar os planos por água abaixo.

Alberto Del Rio em entrevista

Alberto Del Rio disse numa entrevista ao SLAM! Wrestling que a Fatal Four-Way TLC Match pelo World Heavyweight Championship será o maior combate da sua carreira por duas razões:

- Irá lutar contra lendas
- Será um combate pelo titulo mundial

Del Rio disse ainda que o seu foco iria para Rey Mysterio e claro o titulo e mostrou-se convicto que sairia do evento com o titulo mundial na cintura.

Razão pela alteração do ME da SmackDown no TLC

Foi anunciado esta semana que o main event da SmackDown no proximo PPV, seria não um singles TLC Match entre Kane e Edge mas sim um -Way Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match entre Kane, Edge, Rey Mysterio e Alberto Del Rio. Esta alteração deve-se ao facto dos oficiais da WWE julgarem que dará mais espetaculo, isto aliado ao facto que Kane estaria limitado num singles TLC Match. Não esquecer que também Rey Mysterio estaria limitado, este devido a lesão.

Jim Ross fala no Hall of Fame, no TLC e em Brock Lesnar

O ex-comentador da WWE, Jim Ross postou recentemente no seu blog a sua opinião sobre alguns assuntos que fizeram furor esta semana:

On The Hall Of Fame: Emailer….I have no idea who will be inducted into the WWE HOF this year in Atlanta but your question as to if Wahoo McDaniel would be inducted I would suggest not likely. Do I think that Wahoo is deserving? Heck, yes. But I’m also biased when it comes to the former Sooner and one of the toughest men both physically and mentally I ever knew in the business. For those that saw ‘the Chief’ in his prime you know of which I speak.

On The TLC PPV: Looking forward to being in Houston for the WWE PPV, Tables, Ladders and Chairs this Sunday as a fan. As an announcer, broadcasting matches that end without a pin fall or submission are particularly challenging. I’m sure the broadcast team will handle this matter well but it is a different presentation for them and takes a different mindset on the approach to those types of bouts.

On Brock Lesnar: If Brock Lesnar were to become a coach of UFC’s TUF I would not be totally shocked but it would be somewhat surprising. If Lesnar can market his upcoming book, add some marketing stretch to his growing list of sponsors, etc the idea would be viable. I do have concerns that Brock would want to relocate to Vegas for the 6-7 weeks that it would take to tape the next season but if Frank Mir were the other coach then the build to their much discussed ‘rubber match’ would be special.

Mudanças na mesa de comentadores do TLC?

Os oficias da WWE têm discutido a equipa de comentadores para o próximo PPV, TLC.

Internamente Todd Grisham não tem recebido "notas" muito altas o que obrigou Michael Cole a ser movido para a SmackDown. Por outro lado tanto Cole como Jerry Lawler disseram que não gostam de trabalhar com Matt Striker.

Ouve mesmo um incidente no ultimo PPV, Survivor Series, onde Cole tirou os fones e gritou com Striker para este não falar tanto.

Com toda esta situação, CM Punk deverá ser a escolha mais viável para completar a equipa de comentadores, porém isto levanta outra preocupação já que a equiap serai composta apenas por elementos da Raw e a WWE não quer que a SmackDown seja vista como uma brand secundária.
