A ex-estrela da WWE, MVP postou no seu twitter dizendo que estava de malas para o Japão. MV diz ainda que sempre foi um fã de puroresco do Japão e que como tal será mais um sonho tornado realidade.

MVP diz que a WWE é racista

Surgem agora declarações da antiga superstar da WWE, Hassan Hamin Assad (a/k/a MVP), onde segundo as quais, antes deste rescindir com a WWE, terá acusado a WWE de ser racista, isto depois de expulsar rapidamente 2 dos 3 Afro-Americanos que compunham os nexus: Michael Tarver e Darren Young, deixando apenas David Otunga.

MVP irá continuar a utilizar o nome que vinha usando na WWE bem como a gimmick. Segundo tem sido notificado, MVP irá realizar um par de shows em Poueto Rico.

Amigos chegados de MVP, afirmam que o ex-WWE sentia-se infeliz à já algum tempo dentro da empresa e havia já procurado informação a respeito de trabalhar fora dos Estados Unidos. Crê-se que o principal ponto de descontentamento deve-se ao facto de vários atletas "rookies" serem pushados em detrimento de veteranos como era o caso de Matt Hardy, Chavo Guerrero e do próprio MVP. Isto levou mesmo o atleta a equacionar uma mudança de gimmick.

Ele é um grande fã de wrestling japonês e está esperançado por trabalhar na New Japan Wrestling. Ele também está interessado em trabalhar com a AAA.

Jim Ross fala em MVP, Raw e na rivalidade entre Helms e HBK

O ex-comentador da WWE, Jim Ross postou recentemente no seu blog a sua opinião sobre alguns assuntos que fizeram furor esta semana:

On MVP’s WWE release: “MVP requested his WWE release to explore other options as I understand it. I personally like MVP and have always enjoyed our relationship. He’s a talented guy who has endured and overcome some major league challenges in his life. MVP’s life might make for a good movie as a matter of fact. I always preferred the antagonist MVP better than the fan favorite MVP but that’s merely a personal preference. The guy is a survivor and he will perceiver and be just fine. Being off the road during the holidays isn’t a bad thing and it gives him time to assess what he wants to do. We had some particularly fun conversations when Oklahoma had their home and home college football series with MVP’s fav team, ‘The U.’ ”

On Hurricane Helms verbal assault of Shawn Michaels: “I’m not getting involved in that matter nor am I commenting on it. You would be amazed at how many people have asked me my thoughts on this subject of which I have none.”

On This Week’s Raw: “Anxious to watch Raw tonight to see how Michael Cole justifies his actions of last week where he did all that he could to make sure that Miz retained the WWE Title. What will Cole do? Get a reprieve from the ‘mysterious’ Raw GM, hire a good attorney?? In any event the interaction between Cole/King/Punk should be entertaining and better each week.”

O ex-comentador da WWE, Jim Ross escreveu recentemente no seu twitter algumas palavras dedicadas a MVP:

«MVP saiu hoje (ontem) da WWE. Bom rapaz que vai fazer bem daqui para a frente. Ele é um sobrevivente.

Depois de ter despedido varios elementos dos quadros no passado mês, a WWE volta a despedir, desta vez o nome envolvido é mais sonante sendo que trata-se nada mais nada menos que ... MVP.

“Honestly, I’m still wondering that myself. What I think it boils down to is that I’d been there for so long and they had such high hopes for me. For me to continue in the position that I was in I would have gotten to the point where family would have lost faith in me. I think while I’m still young every now and then you need to completely disassociate yourself from the company to freshen yourself up. It would be one thing for me to say I am gonna leave and take three months off and when I come back I’ll be fresh and new, but it’s a total other thing to disassociate yourself from the company completely. The point that they didn’t resign me doesn’t really bother me because I felt like I needed to go and near the end of my career work for me wasn’t fun.”

“I remember when I first started I could not wait to get to work. Near the end, I couldn’t stand when I had to wake up and go to the airport. It was one of those things where we were both in agreement that I needed to step away. Do I believe that’s a permanent departure? No. If you have watched the history of the WWE or if you have ever worked there and you were ever any good; you don’t have just one run with the WWE. The door is open for me to come back. We parted ways on good terms, but as far as a lot of the decisions they made with my career, I’m still dumbfounded.”

“The first person that comes to my mind is MVP. If you look at his career, at one point it looked like it was going that route. For whatever reason, it just stopped. I felt like fans were accepting him so he would be the first on my list. I believe Kofi Kingston is on the cusp. I won’t say he’s quite ready yet but people put the title on guys who aren’t ready all the time. Those two would be first on my list. Most of the other Black guys are just inexperienced right now and none of them have shown me anything that would validate putting the world title on them and that’s not to say they won’t be later. I forgot about Mark Henry and I don’t want to leave him out of there.”

“No, I don’t think he’s very good. My guess would be probably, but at the same time whether he’s any good or not this is a show. Just by him being in the WWE makes news. People are gonna tune in just to see David Otunga – just to see if he’s good or bad. Jennifer Hudson’s husband is a pro wrestler. That’s gonna draw and it will be foolish on the part of WWE not to take advantage of that. Do I think him being married to Jennifer Hudson helps? Without a doubt. He still has to go in there and perform. Just because he has the job and they’re using him doesn’t mean that it’s gonna stay that way. No disrespect to David because he’s a great guy and I’ve worked with him. I expect him to improve, but if I was running a wrestling company and David Otunga was signed on my company, you’re dammed right I’m gonna put him in everyone’s face. That’s the proof for me.”

Recentemente Chris Jericho perguntou a MVP no twitter «“ainda estás na companhia?» ao que MVP terá respondido algo como: Mal parece mas sim.

Pouco depois um fã perguntaria a MVP «Porque continuas a ser "lixado" na SmackDown?», novamente a superstar não deixou de responder, dizendo: «Se descobrires diz-me se faz favor! lol»
